Missionaries to Papua New Guinea
Blog update February 25, New 2012 Photos updated February 26, 2012
Hello and thanks for visiting our web-site. We hope that you find it informative. We have been in Papua NewGuinea (PNG) since January 2010. It is a fulfillment of a call placed on Phil’slife since 1978.
Our arrival has come at an opportunetime. The Assemblies of God of Papua New Guinea are in a time of major transition with a recent change in General Superintendent. The leadership desires to bring a fresh vision into the movement. The transition has not been without challenges. Papua New Guinea has over 800 languages and with that over 800 cultures! While many cultural practices are similar, many are also distinct. This poses a challenge to spiritual unity.
Our vision is to come alongside the PNG leadership team and be an encouragement in this time of transition. Our desireis to assist in leadership development and the expansion of the Church in PNG.
Isaiah 54:2
Enlarge the place of your tent,
and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out;
do not hold back; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes.
The context of this passage speaks of the in gathering of souls into the Kingdom of God. That is our prayer for PNG!
Thanks for your prayers and support of our ministry. We hope you enjoy the photos and videos of our ministry.
Your letters of encouragement are always appreciated.
