Missionaries to Papua New Guinea
Hello and thanks for visiting our web-site. We hope that you find it informative. We have
been in Papua New Guinea (PNG) since January 2010.It is a fulfillment of a call placed on
Phil’s life since 1978. Our arrival has come at an opportune time. The Assemblies of God
of Papua New Guinea are in a time of major transition. Rev. Tony Dalaka was recently voted
in as the General Superintendent. He has brought a fresh vision into the movement. The
transition has not been without challenges. Papua New Guinea has over 800 languages and
with that over 800 cultures! While many cultural practices are similar, many are also
distinct. This poses a challenge to spiritual unity.
Our vision is to come along side the PNG leadership team andbe an encouragement in this
time of transition. Our desire is to assist in leadership development and the expansion of
the Church in PNG. Isaiah 54:2reads, “Enlarge the place of your tent, and let the curtains of
your habitations be stretched out; do not hold back; lengthen your cords and strengthen your
stakes.” The context of this passage speaks of the in gathering of souls into the Kingdom of
God. That is our prayer for PNG!
Thanks for your prayers and support of our ministry. Please take time to look at the photos
of our ministry. Your letters of encouragement are always appreciated.
